No. Precision welcomes complete beginners as well as those with previous wrestling experience. Training is structured so everyone can progress safely and confidently at an appropriate pace.
Yes. While professional wrestling is physically demanding, training is progressive and supportive. You are not expected to be at peak fitness when you start, conditioning develops over time.
If you are unsure or have any specific concerns, our coaches can discuss this with you.
At this time we are only training adults and those over the age of 14. For under-18s, parental or guardian consent is required.
We do plan to introduce kids’ sessions in the future so please drop us a message to register your little ones interest if they are under 14.
While predominantly a performative discipline, professional wrestling is a full-contact sport, therefore there are always risks involved.
That said, safety is a priority at Precision. All sessions are supervised, techniques are taught progressively, and trainees are expected to train responsibly and respectfully. Students are guided through all movements safely and will never be asked to perform something they don’t want to do.
Safeguarding policies are in place for both adults and young people.
Yes. Trial a free trial session is available for all new trainees. These allow you to experience training at Precision before committing to ongoing sessions.
Your first session will introduce you to:

You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and get a feel for how training works before deciding whether to continue.
Comfortable sportswear is recommended. This typically includes:
– T-shirt or athletic top (a spare t-shirt may also be useful)
– Shorts or tracksuit bottoms
– Wrestling boots/shoes are recommended but optional
We would also recommend:
– A towel
– Water bottle
– Deodorant to freshen up
Specific equipment is not required for your first session. If you decide to continue with your professional wrestling training then we would recommend investing in knee pads and elbow pads, but they’re not essential for your first sessions.
Yes, there will be regular water breaks and you are able to rest during the sessions where required.
Pro wrestling is a multifaceted discipline so the content of each session can vary significantly. Precision aims to help you cover everything you need to become a well-rounded pro wrestler, including: moves/techniques, ring fitness, drills, character work, promos, match psychology, networking, wrestling etiquette and more!
Training sessions are currently run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Further information on session times and frequency can be provided when you enquire.
No commitment at all. At Precision Professional Wrestling Academy we want you to enjoy your training and develop as a wrestler at a pace that is right for you. We welcome those who want to attend regularly as well as those who are only able to attend every once in a while.
There is no definitive answer here, it depends on ability, work ethic, and dedication. For some it may take a few months while for other it can take a few years. Everyone learns and develops differently but the coaches are Precision are here to guide you every step of the way to help you reach your potential.

Yes, we accept both cash and card payments on the day.
As a general rule we do not allow people to watch training sessions in action as many trainees find this off-putting and it can lead to people becoming self-conscious.

Yes, coaches are first aid trained.
Yes, there is free parking available in the main Durrington High School car park, accessed off The Boulevard.
